Yesterday，April 26th，our institute held the academic activity “Travel in Guang Zhou”Presentations．Despite the rainy weather，the activity marched smoothly．
The activity was held only in English Education Institude．It has become a tradition for our institude．This year，the activity began on March 12th，one month ago．During this period，students were busy planing this travel project．
At the presentation，there were nine groups respectively in the two places：E403 and E404．At about 7:30，the presentations were on．It was colorful and rich-filling．Different groups had different travel destinations：Guang Zhou Stone Catholic Church（石室天主教堂），Nan Hai Temple（南海神庙），Xi Guan（西关），Shang Xia Jiu（上下九）and so on．They obeserved various kinds of culture．They talked about food，religious faith，patriotism and mural art．

Among all the presentations，＂mural art＂by Group 6 was the only one relating to painting culture．From the presentation，we could see that the group went to the mural art centre and interviewed the professional painter there．The painter told the students some specific knowledge of mural．The students spent a long time appreciating the mural paintings．At the end of the presentation，the student made a summary of the future of mural art,with the help the professionals in the centre．

The topic of Group 11 was Nan Hai Temple．They aimed to spread the folk culture of Bo Luo Dan(波罗诞)．Therefore，they presented the origin of Bo Luo Chicken（波罗鸡）and the culture of Bo Luo Temple（波罗庙）．

＂Xi Guan Love Story＂was an interesting presentation produced by Group ８．It consisted of several love stories taking place in Xi Guan．At the spot，a boy acted as Mr Xi Guan，a girl acted as Miss Xi Guan．They met and fell in love with each other，however，they were forced to break up．Many years later，they met again．Although their love didn’t have a good ending，it was a romantic story．
The presentations ended at about 9:15．
